š” The Unconventional Trait of a Successful Author
When I was in Singapore šøš¬ , I met up with Eric at the Cricket Club for lunch.
Rather than asking him how to become successful, I learnt one thing from Eric and that is:
š” Take ownership: Be your own boss
As my friends know that I am a gym freak, I have chicken breast salad every day for lunch.
I was worried that Eric would think I am weird when I ordered the same lunch, especially the first time we met.
However, when I arrived, he ordered the same dish as mine and he said he wanted to eat clean.
š He took ownership of his diet and health.Ā
After lunch, Eric brought me to meet with his publishers and bookstore managers and maintained great relationship with them.
He visited various book shops to make sure his books š are displayed at a good spot.
Ā
š He took ownership of his work and personal branding.
What have you done today to be your own boss?
