📊 Only 5.6% of the working population makes more than HK$ 1 million a year (SGD 170k or above)

I was reading the latest statistics issued by the HK government in 2024 and realised only 5% of the labour force earn more than HK$ 1 million

📌 This came as a surprise because a portion of my candidates earn more than HK$ 1 Million.

📍 Another reason is because I cover mainly Financial Services and Finance & Accounting in HK, which are relatively well paid industries.

🌟 Occupations that are in the top 5.6%:

-      Senior Managers or above at Big 4

-      VP grades or above at Banks

-      Lawyers/Solicitor

-      Doctors

-      Sales

- Government officials
