🔥 How to be UNIQUE & MEMORABLE?

A lot of people always ask me 

“How to Stand out”

“How to leave a memorable impression in an interview”

✏️ My answer:

Mix & Match

You need to market yourself as the “Most Unique one” so others cannot replicate easily

The more unique the combination, the more memorable

Using my 3 LinkedIn articles for example

📮 Example 1:

My previous post with the topic of “Asking for a Raise & Promotion”

was broad and generic

Anyone on LinkedIn from a hiring manager to a graduate could write a similar post

Anyone can offer similar tips - Hence it lacks differentiation

📮 Example 2: 

With a slightly more differentiation

was my post on “Why you need to add more LinkedIn connections” 

Offering the perspective as a Recruiter using the LinkedIn Recruiter Lite license.

Only those who are recruiters and are paying LinkedIn for the monthly subscription license can copy me and offer the same advice

Hence my competition was reduced from a broad population to recruiters with LinkedIn license only.

📮Example 3:

My most popular article with around 520 likes talks about my transition from Citi ICG Management Associate with IB & PB background to becoming a recruiter.

Combining the unique combination with DB, Citi then at Michael Page.

With also TEDx and sitting on the University Admission Interview Panel experience.

I am custom making my experience narrower and more unique.

It will be difficult for others to replicate.
