đ 3 Things I learnt from Rugby Sevens
I enjoyed watching the Rugby Sevens last weekend. It was exciting to see that 40% of the tickets were sold to tourists and even more exciting to see their interesting outfits and the busy traffic at Causeway Bay!Â
A few things came across my mind while watching the match and enjoying the alcohol - call me workaholic.... or work life integration
đ Always upgrade yourselfÂ
This year was the final year that the Sevens took place in the HK Stadium. Starting next year, the Sevens will be hosted at a bigger and newer Sports Park at Kai Tak - that can sit 50,000 audience members!
If Hong Kong is upgrading the sports facility, what skills do you plan to upgrade this year?
đ Find your USP - Unique Selling Point
When I think of Hong Kong, I think of dim sum, LKF, and Rugby Sevens.Â
Echoing back in my previous posts, I shared about finding your strength.Â
Finding your passion and strength is very important because it elevates your career and life. Doing something you are good at and passionate about gives you a higher ROI and it is more sustainable than working at a highly paid job but without passion.Â
What unique skills do you bring to the table when people think of you?
đ Have a bigger visionÂ
When I saw people competing, they were fighting hard to win for their teams, and their countries rather than themselves.Â
This reminded me of how narrow minded I was at my first job. I only focused on making money. As I grew older, I found my happiness coming from helping candidates finding jobs and clients landing the right talent.
Today, I find joy the most from coaching others, seeing them using their full potential to succeed and climb to next levels and contributing back to the community.Â
How big is your vision?
